According to information from Caixa Econômica Federal, no bet hit the six dozen of the Mega-Sena contest 2760, held this Saturday (08/10). Therefore, the prize, which was estimated at R$ 38 million, rolled over and could reach R$ 43 million. The drawing for contest 2761 will be this Tuesday (08/13).
The drawn numbers were: 08 – 11 – 19 – 39 – 47 – 48.
The quina (5 hits) had 57 winning bets, each receiving the amount of R$ 58,765.70. The quadra (4 hits) had 4,957 winning bets and each will receive R$ 965.34.
Those who want a chance to become a millionaire must place their bets until 7 pm (Brasília time) on the day of the drawing and mark 6 to 20 numbers among the 60 available on the betting slip. There's also the option to let the system choose the numbers (Surpresinha) and/or compete with the same bet for 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 12 consecutive contests (Teimosinha).
What is the probability of winning the Mega-Sena jackpot?
Each 6-number game costs R$ 5.00. The probability of hitting all six numbers with a simple game is 1 in 50,063,860. However, Mega-Sena allows the selection of up to 20 numbers, with this bet costing more than R$ 193,000, but the chances of winning become 1 in 1,292.
For prize redemption, players have the option to go to a licensed lottery house or a Caixa agency. Gross amounts over R$ 2,259.20 can only be redeemed at the bank upon presentation of an identity document, CPF, and betting receipt.
